This 3 days long tour will take you to a scenic route in the Peloponnesian peninsula and will show you important historical sites of Ancient Greece along the everlasting beautiful Greek countryside.

We start our tour with a scenic tour towards Peloponnese as we reach the Corinth Canal which connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean sea. We’ll stop for pictures at the narrow and spectacular Isthmus of Corinth.
We’ll visit next Ancient Corinth where we’ll see the temple of god Apollo, an ancient theater and the Forum or Agora, the busy meeting point of merchants in ancient times.

Next we go up to the country of the king Agamemnon, Mycenae. Visit his Palace, notice the Cyclopean walls and enter into his tholos tomb. Also see the Lion Gate a unique sculpture of Bronze Age Greece.

We will end our first day by the sea, at the idyllic Nafplion.
In the morning admire the water castle of Bourtzi, located in the middle of the harbor of Nafplio and of course the Venetian castle of Palamidi.

Continuing our tour we will go to Ancient Sparta, the home of King Leonidas and his 300 famous warriors, we’ll visit the Archaeological Museum as well as the Museum of Olive Oil and learn about its history.

Just a few kilometers up hill from Sparta stands the Castle of Mystras. On top of the castle hill, a Byzantine town that thrived in its time and the Palace of the Despots. Mystras is also very famous for its several Byzantine churches with the interesting architecture and the valuable frescoes.

Finally, we’ll visit Diros Caves. Marvel the white stalagmites and stalactites as you pass by them afloat a boat in one of the most beautiful complexes of caves in the world.
